Do the PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba diving course on Koh Tao

 

Once you have achieved your PADI Open Water Diver certification, you can continue your dive training and complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course enables you to increase your diving experience and knowledge under the expert guidance of your instructor, while diving Koh Tao's best dive sites.

Must:
- Be 12 yo+ for junior advanced OW
- Be 15 yo+ for adult advanced OW
- Medically fit to dive
- Be a certified OW diver that has recently dived
 

  • Duration two days
     

  • Price 10000

During the course you will complete 5 different adventure dives including a deep dive and a dive that refines your underwater navigation skills.

Adult Advanced certification (15 years +) allows you to dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 30 metres or 100 feet.

Junior Advanced certification (12 years to 14 years) allows you to dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 21 metres or 69 feet.

What to expect during your PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba diving course on Koh Tao

With the help of your instructor you will choose 3 different adventure dives to add to the deep and the navigation adventure dives which are mandatory.

 

You will then complete the knowledge development part of the course by doing some lite reading on your 5 adventure dives and completing each knowledge review.

Adventure training dives

Your Instructor will explain what you will have to do on each of your adventure dives. Your schedule will consist of doing 2 dives on the first day and 3 on the second day.

 

Certification

Once all the training dives have been completed and the instructor is happy with your standard he will sign you off as an Advanced Open water diver.You will get an e-card sent to your email stating that you have passed the PADI Advanced Open water course which can be shown at any scuba diving school around the world and they will allow you to dive down to a maximum depth of 30m (21m for junior Advanced Open Water diver), with a certified buddy.
